Why Start the Anchor Program?

Up to 85% of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with a college degree are unemployed or underemployed, and affordable housing is as hard as ever to find. The Anchor Program and Anchor House is another step to help bridge these gaps. The Anchor Program will allow those with ASD and other disabilities a chance to work on transferable skills with a safety net, and with the added benefit of peer learning opportunities. There is also support for the transition to independence.
